Newbie here. (thanks Robbie)
A friend took me to a campground but before it were all these wild red poppies with yellow weeds. It was so beautiful.
And the day after I found only 'bush' of Prickly Poppy and along the highway I saw some cactus.
Hello Judy and welcome to the group. It is getting that time of year in the UK also were poppies are beginning to make a strong presence.
They are such poignant flowers, a field or meadow full off red poppies evokes the sense of the First World War in Europe and the millions of senseless losses. Something only time can put into perspective.
We have many coloured varieties in the UK which are windblown called Welsh poppies.
Hi Judy :-) You have done an excellent job of capturing the natural wildness and beauty of the countryside. We have similar views to this and I have at times photographed them in an attempt to capture the essence and feeling, but so far have not done as well as you..so well done and tfp :-)
