Sometimes I get lucky. I have looked at numerous books by famous photographers where the picture in itself tells a story. These are mostly B&W. A good example that I am sure every one has seen would be of an old man all wrinkled and his clothes tattered and torn sitting on a curb or a bench. You get my drift. Anyway, I shot this one at an art fair down on the plaza in Kansas City last year. My wife wanted me to get a shot of this ladies' boots. Well, this is what I came up with. It was so funny. Every one, men and women alike, turned their heads and watched her walk. I posted this on flickr. It got a lot of hits but not a single comment. I am kind of disappointed. These are my favorite pictures to shoot - when a story unfolds before one's eyes. Hard to do. For me, at least.
A day at the Art Fair.
This reminds me of a classic old photo from the 50's. Its taken in B+W in Italy on a crowded street and shows men at a sidewalk cafe, on mopeds, etc. all frozen, heads turned to watch a beautiful woman in dress and heels walk by. No words needed to tell the story.....LoL. Thanks for posting...nice job. Rocco
