A couple???????

These two American Goldfinches were out today enjoying the beautiful weather. Both appear to be in full Summer plumage.
The female sat on a fallen tree branch near the shore and appeared to pose for me.
The male was more interested in food and wouldn't budge from there. So I took what I could get.
I wanted to get them as BIF but missed every try.
Oh well -- sigh!

Very nice set of photos, I also have been trying to capture these in flight, so far no luck, nothing but blur.
