Thank you very much, the film used was Fuji Velvia slide film. The scanner I used was a Minolta Dimage Multiscan.

Some great photos of a great place! Why must folk always complain of grain? Remember many a film shot and other photographers who often printed their work based on grain, and even the chacteristics of various films.

Thank you so much Gene. I enjoyed your images about your Alaska trip, nice work. I used to go up there every year just by myself, after I turned 80 my wife said that's enough, boy do I miss it. I just love that country, on our honeymoon in 1960 we drove from San Francisco to Anchorage on the old Alaska highway it took us 17 days to get there.. What a trip.

I don't do film anymore since the lab I used closed, a sign of our times, but in my humble opinion Velvia is best I used it for many years.

Not to keen on #3 its the shape of the rock (personal) the quality of the image is perfect just think the rock in front of the image spoils the superb scenery behind.... but the rest are awesome love that #1 shot of the mountains. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:
