Post processing not only can save lousy photo's, it can be great fun. I enjoy it at least as much, more really, than taking the picture to begin with. This set, the last in this series is on Out Of Bounds, (OOB). The technique is a great way to learn some editing basics, using layers and masks and making and warping frames. The technique is almost always overdone at first, sort of in your face OOB but with the right picture, can turn out OK.
A UHH search for OOB will turn up some great OOB by guys with some actual artistic talent. Mine are more the inyourface OOB, but I like some subtle effects the best.
This is a friends '47 dodge. One of my first and a good example of what I call in your face oob, fun to do, but..
Little bit, a feral cat
Lucy, my bud. I personally like this one. Sort of in your face, but I think it works, probably because I love Lucy.
This is more subtle with just the paw sticking out of the frame a bit. I do this a lot. Less is more idea
Another less is more example
A little more but I like the results. Some times a photo looks like it needs some OOB work.
Nice! I like the first and Lucy but really like the last !

Thanks. The last one was a lousy photo that I had used as an example of how post can save a blah picture. Turned out to be one my best flower photo's with just a simple crop. Sometimes (often) a jewel is hidden in a photo.
I agree! Never really played with this, but now it's time to try it, Thanx for posting.
