I did notice that they are on tif image how do I transfer them to a jpeg file

Open the file up in what ever viewer you have and then do a "Save As", and select the JPG extension.

Even though I can't see the images I bet they are great. Glacier is my second favorite National Park after Yosemite. Everyone should visit them both.
