Sounds as good as "Government" and "Responsible", why do I feel neither example is believable? :-)

The 95mm objective lens is a small part of the total--$1899 at B and H. Then add the eyepiece for $2179, digiscoping adapter for $489, T2 to adapt the adapter to your camera for $30 and a spotting scope rail to keep it all steady for $179.
It's an itch you can scratch for just under $5000.
I have no personal experience, but I'm a little skeptical that all those lens held together by a rubber sleeve and a set screw will give perfect results in the end. I'd like to hear from any of you with experience.

I have a Nikon 300mm F2.8 in like new condition in the store right now for $2000, think I will stick to the best glass AND price.

Keep in mind, with the spotting scope at 60x, you are talking the equivalent of a 3000mm lens!
It would certainly be interesting to try one of these outfits to see what it would do. Wonder if LensRentals offers them. Also, there is certainly cheaper ways to go than Swarovski.
Still interested if anyone here has tried the concept.

I tried this with a cheaper spotting scope and an adapter and it worked great if you can tolerate the very shallow depth of field The other thing was my setup had no connection to the camera that caused the hunt and peck syndrome trying to find proper exposure. I was able to get some really long shots but they take forever to setup and they never have total focus. Mine is sitting in a box in my basement That's how much I liked it. I wasn't out the cost of the scope because I already had it but the adapter was cheap.

I'd take my camera and try this before you buy it. Most wildlife doesn't sit still for very long;so try it at distance and not just looking at some building. Now if you want pics of the neighbores this would do it
