So many more great posts here today.

I did get out the camera while doing a little yard work today because I notice that in the 4 years we've been in this house, this year the Honey Locust Tree in the back yard has been significantly more prolific in it's seed pod production. I'm sure there is an old Indian "foretelling" for such an episode. "foretelling" that's what it was before it was so scientific to be forecasting.

We live with pattern, they seem to be all around. These patterns may be repetitious, or symmetrical, and even random, whatever the case may be they surround us . For this exercise let us see what unusual patterns you can bring to the challenge using your photographic skills. Here are a few to help get you started.

Round

From the Sky
From the Sky...

Leaves

Small leaves

the clouds above the land is wonderful and the small leave in green is also very nice. You are improving and that is good.

Some more of nature's patterns.

When I first looked at these, I thought "I don't remember posting those". Even though they're textures rather than landscapes, I recognized Big Bend, right down to the mud in SantaElena canyon. It's one of the most beautiful national parks. We got a lot of the same texture photos! Our photographers eye must be similar.

Thanks for looking & your kind comments. I loved my vacation in Big Bend, & would like to return sometime.

Thanks so much for telling me about the contest thread. I did submit my door. Is there a calendar of the coming subjects? If so, it would make it easier to plan ahead a few days.
