Took a trip to the amazing dunes last week with a group. Rather than go to the trouble of writing everything twice, here is a link to the blog where I post this stuff.
It is also a good site for aspiring pros to check out some GREAT advice from some very talented photographers on how to conduct a business. It is free.

WOW and WOW those are fantastic. the colors, the clarity, the composition. You maybe should think about doing more landscapes. Will you be sharing your camera settings?

Well, camera setting won't help you. I can tell you that all of them are three frame HDR images to start. I just metered the scene and set the bracket for 1 stop under/meter/1 stop over.
The rest is all how the HDR was processed, how I applied some NIK and Topaz filters, some were stretched and some were compressed. Some were run through NIK Viveza to bump the color.
If you look at the third image, here is the original - quite a difference.
It is really amazing what you can do when you know what you are doing--I was wondering how you got those awesome colors.
thanks for sharing

http://sptvblog.me/getting-out-of-your-comfort-zone-by-cliff-lawson/Thanks for the post! Your shots and processing are amazing! I also really like your article "blog" about this. There is so much to learn about every category or type of photography that it boggles my mind. You have a way of really opening ones mind to the depth and skill required of all photography. Thank you again for this eye-opening post!
