The view towards the Eureka Tower from Chancery Lane, Melbourne makes an interesting juxtaposition of old vs new architecture.

This Canon 6D continues to blow me away with the level of detail it captures.

That's an amazing piece of architecture (on the right). Look at all the detail.

The older building on the right is fascinating as to all the detail shown. The only problem I have is ALL the TV antennas that should have been removed.

you might remember the days before cable TV, when virtually every house had at least one TV antenna on the roof.

Demonstrates very well the different levels of contrast - old vs new, ornate vs modern, poor vs rich, commoner vs corporate, etc.
I feel the overall effect is rather 'greyish' eventhough you have good lighting, definitely on the ornate & modern buildings. How about increasing the vibrance or saturation and contrast and pulling back the blacks? The Eureka Tower should have brighter blues and yellows.
The other thing I would do is physically move back some more if possible, so that the Eureka Tower becomes as high as, or higher than the ornate building. Doing those 2 things will give the tower more prominance, or at least an equal amount. I don't mind the TV aerials as they depict the modern era. Maybe clone out the bit jutting out at the top left.
I wonder when I will pluck up the courage to look down from the protruding platform at the top.

Thats true Jerry but they seem so obtrusive.

Definitely, but much better than those 12' dish antennas that were popular for a while.

We needed to be obtrusive to pull in that one or two channels we clung to. Great shot. Definitely a study in contrasts.
