I realize the noise is almost past the acceptable point, but after trying for a considerable time, I finally captured this shot of a bee coming in for a landing. I used my Canon SX 50 in the 'burst' mode. Takes 10 images with one press of the shutter. Nice feature for a slow-poke like me :)
Very nice!! Not easy to catch!!
I know, it's hard to capture a bee in flight. A few weeks ago while taking a walk I ran into some carpenter bees hovering around a fence. In the mood for a challenge, I decided to photograph one of them while in flight. For the life of me, I could not get a single shot of one in proper focus! I tried auto-focus, then manual pre-focus... no success. As soon as I had a bee in focus, it veered off out of the frame before I triggered the shutter. Perhaps if I had set my camera to burst mode as you did I would have had better luck.

Thank you Wahawk and Rook. Yes, without that feature I'm sure I would have missed that little guy too.
