Caterpiller and a fly

played with this little caterpillar for awhile then found this fly feasting on his dinner

doesn't look fuzzy up close
doesn't look fuzzy up close...

kinda feel like a see an eye there

trying to get those big fly eyes with all the little squares in their eyes this is as close as I've come so far, gotta keep trying

With very narrow DOF, focus is critical. My eyes sometimes aren't up to it. It looks like your focus is just behind the eye-- the legs are more the point of critical focus.

i agree,all are a little backfocused.diffused flash will help a lot

To allow true constructive criticism, please check the box labeled "(store original)" when posting images. I agree that your images appear a bit back-focused (which is easily solved), but would be easier to diagnose if we could download & enlarge your images.

P.S. - Do not touch caterpillars with bristles, as imbedded bristle hairs can cause skin irritation.
