Thanks for the kind words - I saw this gentleman 3-4 times prior to taking his picture - I couldn't resist as he was walking up the street right at me -at which time I was sitting down and drinking a Grolsch.....I missed the focus a little - got the wall behind him - but still an interesting capture.

Thank you for your comments - I appreciate you looking. I only spent about 6 hours walking around - taking the train from the airport and back - spending the night then flying to France early the next morning - but what an incredible place. I have posted a few "canal" shots on another thread - Amsterdam HDR if you are interested....thanks again!

You never know - I went to France for work - we had a 20 hour lay-over in Amsterdam and a generous Boss who was willing to show us around - I would have never imagined this trip 5 years ago....I also drove to Switzerland for 10 hours the next Saturday - had to take advantage - don't know when I will get back....
