I'm just new to digital photography and just joined this site. My son bought me this IS20 to practice with and I'm posting a few of my shots with it (I have hundreds). I have a TSi now and have not had a chance to take any shots for trying to learn the camera but will in the future. These shots were taken as a rank amateur before I heard of lighting, thirds, bokeh, composition, etc. Great site and look forward to enjoying and learning as I go.

Thanks but it's kinda hard to mess up a point and shoot camera. The fun starts now.

Welcome fish9x, the important thing is your here, learning and posting. It takes awhile to learn a new camera, how it works and how to get good images. Just be patient, relax and have fun. Your first post is not that bad. Good Job...keep practicing.

Thanks James. Not looking to be a top photographer, just enjoy being able to capture life as it appears.

I haven't been to Aussie in 7 years and wish I'd of had time and a good camera then. I did manage hundreds of photos but all P&S cameras. I am blown away at the wildlife, colored birds, and ever blooming flora there; a photographers paradise.

Thank you. Usually visit family in Sydney and in Queensland when there. I want to get over to Coober Peedy and down to Tasmania to do some fly fishing.
