This bud is from a rosebush that I bought about a month ago. It's still in the pot.
I moved it around a bit to obtain different backgrounds. Shots could be sharper, but I still think they're pretty.

A couple of things, kiddo, and please don't get angry. First off, I am a big movie fan. I thought the title had something to do with Citizen Kane. Here is the hard part. You are a little out of focus on all of them. Otherwise they are very nice pics. I would not fret much. I have seen your work before.

I already stated in my first post that they were not sharp Tom, you aren't saying anything that I don't already know. The bud was so small and getting focus was very difficult.

I like the coloring in the first shot best. Works nicest with the flower. But they're all nicely done, as is the bird.

That background in the first shot is the umbrella on the patio table, and I liked the final result as well.
