Need Bird ID please: This little guy (little larger than an adult robin) was jumping from lily pad to lily pad whilst I was trying to capture adult redwing blackbird (without results).

This little guy (little larger than an adult robin) was jumping from lily pad to lily pad whilst I was trying to capture adult redwing blackbird (without results). I have not clue. It was also feasting among the reeds. Very active bird. Thanks all in advance for replies.

Thank you all so much. I was looking in the wrong area. Walking water birds. It all makes sense now since I have been chasing the male for 2 weeks trying to get a decent shot. duhhhhhhhhhhhhh
