Maybe focus stacking on the cards in the first one so the are all in focus?

I think No1 is very imaginative and original to me. If I were doing a project like this I would spend time studying the subjects and try to portray them in an unusual way. I took shots once of cards spinning up from the pack on the table, I used very fine electrical fuse wire threaded through a pin hole in the centre of each card, behind each card I put the male end of a press stud to hold it in place. Once done, I flicked each card and while they were spinning photographed them at different shutter speeds. With minimal PP I hid all traces of the wire, the end result was very pleasing. just a thought..:-)

Very nice, I like # 2 and #3 the best. The fading into black makes your eye look deep into the photo.
