I've posted my images on an number of sites, UHPP, Facebook and other Nikon to name just a few. Undoubtedly, they look clearer, sharper and generally better on FLicker. Why is this ? To judge for yourself I've included an image posted here using this sites upload, and one with the Flicker address. Judgewhich one you think is best...
Let me know what you think.

it looks like they are posting a larger image, so therefore the details are better.

When uploading to UHH, for the BEST image results, either resize them to no more than 600 pixels wide, OR click on the 'store original' button. The 'store original' option creates a 'download' option below the photo that lets those who want to, to download and view the image in "all of its glory".

When uploading images greater than 600 pixels wide, UHH resizes them to fit the 600 pixel format and the resizing process they use does lose a lot of quality.

Your stored, downloaded image here looks to my eye to be clearer than even the largest flickr image.
