I started full time smoking at 10 years old, stopped 2 years ago, that comes to 62 years of smoking. Doctor could not believe I tested 87% lung capacity, but I have one hell of a cough that is not going to go away.

Started at 15, Quit at 40.
Quitting smoking was the best decision of my life. Starting smoking - the dumbest.

Started maybe at 14 wrapping corn silk in newspaper.

Smoked off and on until I was 66. Sometimes off the nic for up to 5 years.

Cough got worse and worse and now at 65-70% Lung capacity.

Haven't had a smoke in almost 4 years. Use a Pro-Air inhaler maybe once every two weeks or so if needed.

Don't smoke or give it up now is my motto.

Sadly I have to confess that I am still smoking 46 years after starting. I have stopped a couple of times for 12 months plus but have slipped back into the old routine.
I smoke two packets a day. Each packet here costs approx. $1.03
