Trying a new processing technique on this called the 'Dragan' effect. New to me, anyway. Haven't seen it done with cats, and Cookie's probably not the best model for it, as stripes and wrinkles seem to work best, but for a first attempt, I wasn't all that unhappy.

And anyway, it was fun to try something a little different.

Thanks very much, GWR100. Appreciate your visit and comment.

She's really not a bad cat. Mostly.

Thank you, Pierre. Saw this done on YouTube and loved the effect. Rather involved, some thirty-four separate steps above and beyond my normal workflow, but thought it might work on cats, so gave it a try.

I'll get better at it.

Thanks for looking! : )

Thanks, Rlaugh. Fun to give something new a try, even if not quite perfect at it yet.

Thanks very much for looking. Always appreciated.

Basically nothing but CS6, with my normal touch of Adjust and Simplicity first. Just a lot of steps involved.

The tutorial I used (and there are several) was by Maxpower285, in case this link doesn't call it up.

You're entirely welcome. Hope you can make some use of it. And if you do, I'd like to see it/them posted.

Thank you, Mare. There appears to be a lot of wiggle room in the work flow, so it's going to take some practice to get good at them. But it'll be fun trying. Did one with Martian when I first found the tutorial and liked the result, but that particular photo had already been posted, so didn't bother to put it up again. But it got the wheels turning.

Cookie's aggressive appearance in this one was just the ticket to give it another try.

Appreciate the visit!
