Hello!
I like to try a little of everything in photography; no niche goes unexplored. Here's a small sample of what I've taken. Please be brutally honest, I can't improve with "nice pic!"
Check out my flickr, flickr.com/superkru1969. Leave comments on them, too if you have time.
Have fun!

#1 - I like the perspective, the wide angle and the colors - to me the background detracts. #2 - I like the framing, like the subject; one of things that bothers me, and yes I have a hard time avoiding it is the washed out sky. Might try a circular polarizer if not able to shoot early or late in the day to avoid the harsh light. #3 - some may ask what the subject is, to me it is just a street scene - not every picture is for everybody or needs a "subject" as such. Thanks for sharing.

notnoBuddha, agree with the background, I wonder how a shallow depth of field would have changed this photo. My comments on the water fountains are that the lights blow out the water spray. I agree with notnoBuddha on the washed out sky in no. 3, and I also agree on the street scene.

# 3 could use an exposure change for the backlight and I would look for the "other angle" for a shot like this. Perhaps from a lower perspective to give the Arch more importance as the subject, and this would lessen background being so busy. I can tell that you enjoy photography, just relax and imagine your final product framed on your wall.
