Nice shot, too bad the other kid cut in front of your shot. Looks like you had it under control. Ive never tried panning, yours looks pretty good to me.
thank you.i've tried panning few times.this one came out pretty good
Haven't tried this yet but looks like this could be fun! It came out good!
I've tried panning a numerous times, I know how difficult it is. I think of the 50 or so shots I took, one was halfway decent, the rest, pure crap. This is a very impressive shot. Your sons face is well in focus while everything around him is blurred.
Can you provide some detail as to the camera settings, thanks
i'm afraid all info is lost due processing.SORRY
pan shots can be tricky. the secret is to use a shutter speed slow enough to blur the background as you track the subject, and keeping your subject in focus. here's on i got at a rugby match between one of our local club teams and a team from Portland... this was shot at 1/50 @ f/16. i probably could've gotten as good a shot at 1/125, but i was shooting in aperture mode, and paying more attention to DOF than shutter speed...
From the window of a moving car.
Thank you. It's encouraging.
