what variety of azaleas do you have growing? here in pa. they are deer candy. they will even jump some fences to get to ours, need to spray with deer repellent to see any blooms at all let alone leaves.the only ones they leave alone are the deciduous varieties. thanks

We have several varieties of "persistent-leaf" azaleas....perhaps our Texas white tail deer behave differently than your Pa. deer. We live inside a national forest and everyone plants azaleas as one of the few deer resistant choices available....

thanks hb. will check out persistent leaf type. we have about 10 that are nothing but sticks this year. my wife keeps moving them inside our fenced in area, but that is full. we also have about 350 hostas from minis to giant and they leave them alone after the green in the woods starts to grow. they nip our daylilies just before bloom if i don't spray them. last year about half of our fancy's blooms were lost, i must do a better job this year.. thanks again about the azaleas.

Love the azaleas. Still too early for them here, but won't be long! Nice shots all around.
