Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
My eyes behold that this is certainly trash.

I would say the photographer has a strange sense of what makes a good photo subject. My vote: not art. :D
I don't believe the photo of the room is intended the art any more than a photo of a statue is. The artist discusses the emotions that might attach to physically walking over the pictures.
It is clear that definitions of art vary. I don't get the people who run around wrapping buildings in orange cloth or squirting paint at a canvas with a jet exhaust. I know many would consider me off the norm on the other side on this because I consider some stuff people rave about as no better than a 4-year old can do; e.g. some Picasso's.
I'd consider this more like an exhibit to make a point; e.g. displaying some cars crashed by people talking on their cell phones while driving.
So I don't consdier it art but do get the point and suspect that there are some who would call it art for that reason. That's fine with me.

I got the message but what a waste of paper. Hope he recycles!
Agree. But......I think that some would call just about anything art and .......be willing to pay a lot of money for something that only makes me shake my head in disbelief.

show quote)
Remember the french and their toilettes in the 1914'??? Called 'caca'
There was at the time an 'art revolution'. Artists, presumably old school, produced was they called 'caca' (shit) and sold it as such. The most infamous was never sold, for good reasons, the stories said that there was still the 'artist' turd in it.
But toilets (i mean full ceramic devices) where hanged on the wall and sold!!!

I admit that I wouldn't consider this installation as "art" but when you think about it..it tells a story. These days almost everyone has a camera of some sort..even if it is only the one in their cell phone. People shoot some of the dumbest photos and post them to the social networks. There is a plethora of photos taken.
So, should I follow my dog in the yard, take a close of its poop that steams in the early morning hour, then walk on it, take a picture of the poop on my shoe, then walk in the house, take picture of my poop foot print?
To be honest, I think my life will be quickly ended by my sweet wife who would knock some sense in my head with the pastry roller (first time she would uses it too as I am the only one who uses it...)
Alpha and Omega, all is in balance!
A beginning and a end, NOW that is art!
It'll be performance art whenever they set the whole pile on fire. I would include the flickering flames and rising smoke in my photograph, and call it "Uploading Art From Cloud to Clouds"

I think that was his point. I have a disturbing question he said 'in one day' how did he print so much stuff in one day? (and find it the first place!)
