Sorry........I very well may be stepping on some toes here.........In my opinion the two most favorite photos to post here on UHH are:
1. Birds
2. Flowers
Most are very nice photos, but if you're like me, then you might be getting kind of tired of the same old, same old. How about if we try to capture a "new slant" on the same old subject? Let's explore some variations and think outside of the box. Push the limits and edges. Let those creative juices flow. Look at your photos as an ART rather than just a SNAPSHOT.
I'm posting some photos to start this off. If you have some flower photos that you would like to post here on this "NOT your typical flower photos" post, then please do. I think everyone is ready for a creative new approach to the same old, same old. If you do wish to share your flower photo(s) just remember........1 rule: have a new slant on it. Think outside of the box. Let's stimulate the creative juices for everyone..............inspire us! Let that light bulb above your mind go ON!

I agree with you 100% I just posted some samo', samo". Lol. The only one that I do not like is #4. It seems to hurt my eyes. I do not know why. Once I get the changing backgrounds thing down, then I might have time to try what you are doing. I am enjoying your posts.

Well Georgiann, Let's see YOUR OOB flower image(s)! You could ealisly do it with your new push similar to your avatar. That is outside of the box for sure!

Thanks tainkc for enjoying my posts. On this post once again my goal is to spark some creativity out of this UHH group.

You've certainly raised the bar Brent by taking a cliche and testing a number of new possibilities. Every one has merit. I think you've succeeded in "sparking creativity" as well as producing some wonderful images.

At the very least, you've given me some ideas of what to do with my out of focus shots.:-D

Thank you vicksart for letting me know that I have sparked creativity. My mission is becoming a reality! I'd love to see what you come up with when you get down to business with your images. If you have Photoshop CS6 you can use the oil paint filter on your out of focus images!
