Does anyone have experience with doing HDR images with film/scanning - either transparency or negative ?
Hi,
No experience but something I plan to try soon using the one-shot HDR approach. I noticed that a number of my old slides, which I plan to scan, have pretty wide dynamic ranges.
I know that if the images are blown out at either end the one-shot HDR can't work. But since I believe film has a wider dynamic range than digital sensors there may be a chance. But then by time I've further degraded the images by scanning maybe not.
It will be a while before I get to that stage of my processing so I too would be interested in any direct experience.
Regards,
