That idiot cop reminds me of a story my dad told me from WW2 in which a soldier was riding in the back of a 6x6 with his chin resting on the butt of his rifle with the muzzle end down...the truck hit a bump, the weapon discharged and tore the front of the soldier's face off...another fatality due to carelessness and mom got a black-bordered telegram.

The rules as my father taught me:
Let's see....Rule number one: Always assume a weapon is loaded. Check. Rule number two: never point it at anything unless you intend to shoot it. Check. OK. Now I get it. I have heard of "shooting your mouth off", but apparently this guy is about to shoot his a** off.
