Welcome to the Weekend Challenge! Patography and I are co-hosting this weekend, and as Pat is out of town, she won't be around until late Sunday or Monday. Our theme this weekend is Spring Landscapes. Show us what spring looks like in your area. If Spring in your area is slow starting, feel free to share the best of your archives.
From a Real Estate appointment in the nearby countryside last week, to an overnight trip to the North Georgia Mountains yesterday, I have enjoyed finally seeing spring. The pollen has been unbelievable and our temperatures still remain quite chilly!
We look forward to a relaxing weekend of beautiful landscapes. Continue to remember Annette (Aleone63) in your thoughts and prayers.
A Real Estate appt. took me to Bostwick, GA, where Canola fields dot the countryside. This is the view from the backyard of the house I was viewing. I love how the clouds provided some special lighting in this photo
Another view from the backyard. The same old house along with a view of the town
The backyard of the house I was viewing with its charming 1926 studio apartment/loft.
Yesterday's overnight trip to N. GA - a charming valley of homes
We visited friends camping in the N. GA Mountain Fairgrounds campground in Hiawassee, GA - Lake Chatuge
A beautiful place across the lake - perspective #1 - around 2:00 p.m.
Perspective #2 - a view from another campsite at 5:30 p.m.
Taken on our way home today in the harsh noon light. One of my favorite landmarks
The main farmhouse
Almost forgot the view of the abandoned Antebellum house from the backyard of the house I was viewing

Spring is slow as my boat in the snow.
Snow boat
Took these last week. It's going to rain all this weekend here, so I don't think I'll get out to take any pictures.

We have the same forecast and it's already started raining. Beautiful, Amy, as always! The different shades of green in the trees and grass really stood out to me when taking my photos. It is prevalent in yours as well. The next time we come to TN, I want to see some of your area! (pg. 1)
Spring in a mountain meadow, cattle pasture and very old apple orchard. In the Sierra Nevada foot hills on Hwy 88

Thanks, Marilyn! We miss you, too! I just came off a slice of time where I wasn't able to participate much as well. Hey, we'll take what we can get of you!

Thanks, Cricket! I can't wait to see your spring ~
See you all in the morning!
love your examples Grace, wish I had a yellow field like that.
So I am trying to figure out a way to add an umbrella to my tripod so I can get out and shoot in the rain this weekend... in the meantime here is one you might like.... okay make it three lol
Wow what an excellent start. Such beautiful scenery. It has been snowing here off and on the it warms up and snows again all in the same day! From 28° to 65 and back down to 32 in a matter of 5 hours.
