I am impressed with all the great photos I have seen on this site. I hope I will be posting such beautiful shots in my future with this site. Does anyone use DSLR cameras? Or just straight SLR's? Photography has been a hobby off and on for about 40 years for me and always looking for improvement.

If you mean digital single lens reflex (DSLR) the answer is yes, that's what most of us use. A Hugh welcome to the site, I'm somewhat to it also and spend a lot of time learning from it.

Hi Barbara. Welcome to the hog. I would say 99% of hog members use digital cameras. Some use point and shoot and a great many more use DSLR's. So, join in, have fun. Your first post looks very good.

I don't know if they are editable, however they look delicious. I'm thinking they are huckleberries. Welcome to UHH!

Im not sure about how edible they are. They look like choke berries to me. Which are not edible at all.

I have a Sony a350. Two lenses: 18-70 3.5-5.6 and 55-200 4-5.6. I have had this camera for a few years now. It has probably sat on the shelf more then it has been used.I'm not sure how to start to learn how to use it well. Any suggestions on how to start?

Familiarize yourself with the parts of the camera. Change lenses.
If you dont have the manual anymore, go to Sony on line and type in your model. Ask for help. This will give you a start. Then turn it on, and basically start shooting. Start with total auto till you get back your confidence. Have fun...
