I caught sight of this little guy/gal yesterday morning. It stayed in approximately the same place all day. He/she was still in the same vicinity when I went to bed last night. This morning, he/she was still there.
I think it was his/her first day out of the nest. It appeared to me that his/her wings weren't strong enough to fly on it's own.
In one of the captures I'll post, you can very clearly see the underside of a wing and it appears that it's not fully developed.
Mama was taking very good care of her offspring as I watched her bringing food to feed the youngun' off and on the whole day.
I went out to do some errands today and when I got back, the little one was gone. Don't know what happened but I hope he/she's OK.
I'm going to post about 10 photos....a few more than I would normally post, but he/she is just adorable.
Nice! What a little squawker!!!

Amazing shots, great camera work! These are so pretty and fun to look at. Thank-you Joyfullee!
Really, really sweet images. You do hope it's OK, but if not - circle of life and all that...

You're welcome. :-)
I had a most enjoyable time yesterday keeping track, observing him/her and taking photos on and off all day long.

I looked all around for him/her very carefully, but to no avail.
I sure hope Mama has got him/her.

If you sit and watch for the parents, you will find where they are going to feed him.:):) I did this last year for some baby Robins that got blown out of the trees. They all made it.
