Hi ... I'm new to the forum!
Photography is my favorite hobby. I enjoy taking photos of people in their natural environment and capturing their personality in black and white images. Switched from film to digital ... and now I need to learn how to use my new camera.

Welcome..Sunshine...good luck with your new camera. :)
Welcome to the Hog Sunshine. Read your manual cover to cover. Experiment with things you don't understand as you go along and ask questions when you are stumped, confused, etc. :)

Hi there UBS...welcome to the hog. You sure have come to the right place. Between your manual and those of us here that have the same or similar cameras, we will get you through it all. So, have fun.

For learning, the plus feature of a digital is 'no film to buy', so you can shoot all you want and what ever you want, pull them up on your computer and study/learn your successes and/or failures.
