Beautiful...what a nice job you did!

I'm critical and If I saw something lame I'd say it but this is really nice.

Good job!

I was perusing a photo gallery and saw a beautiful still life of lemons. I thought I would give it a go with oranges. I used a black card board background and shot several shots both with and without a flash. Tripod was used. Edited in photo shop.

This is so well done -- your lighting is excellent, color and composition are beautiful. Detail is just right.
There's that Old Master look which a lot of us love.
Thanks for sharing.

The background is well shot and the subtly light seen on the fruit is just right.

Did you know oranges are in fact berries, strawberries are in fact NOT berries, Bananas are

Thank you for looking! NO, I didn't know that, I was aware of the tomato thingy but not oranges, strawberries and bananas! Cool!

Nice shot ghorse. I also like to do still life photos, it gives me something to do in the winter. What part of North Carolina do you live in? I've had the good pleasure visiting your state on a few occasions (beautiful country). My sister lives near Albemarle.

Thank you for you kind words. I live in a small town between Winston Salem and Statesville. Albermarle is near Greensboro, right?

qhorse, I'm pretty sure you'd have to reload. But hang-on.... don't do it just yet as I may be wrong and I'll bet someone out there in UHH land will read this and set us right pretty soon. ;)

Wow, you're pretty close to my sister! She and her husband live in Norwood about 70 miles from where you are. Directly east of Charlotte on Lake Tillery. It's a small world. :)

Indeed! Not a native of NC but have been here since the late 70's, here in Mocksville since 2000. I love it here!! We have a small farm with 3 horses and lots of grass to mow! :)
