Leviticus 20:13.....

"For those who haven't heard, Washington State just passed two new laws - gay marriage and legalized marijuana. The fact that gay marriage and marijuana were legalized on the same day makes perfect biblical sense because Leviticus 20:13 says "If a man lies with another man they should be stoned."Evidently, We just hadn't interpreted it correctly before!

Thanks for the "Day Brightener" only a really uptight individual wouldn't get a little laugh out of this.

Gay marriage is a joke I reckon. But gay bashing is out of
order. They cant help it; many are born that way.

It's like penalizing a person because they have cancer.

I agree to some extent. Much of the negative reaction "normal" ppl have to gays has to be laid at their feet, however. In an attempt to be open-minded and because we have two gay friends, I personally witnessed a gay pride celebration sponsered by Queer Nation. GOOD GRIEF!!! My ability to view this group as largely like us but with differing sexual tastes has forever been dashed. I left with an overwhelming sense of sadness and low-level disgust. If hetero couples exhibited behavior this way, I'd have the same reaction. The sense of pathology was prevalent thoughout the display. Should they be hated? Heck no, but neither am I willing to accept this being presented to the children of this country as a perfectly acceptable alternative lifestyle by the sorry excuse of a public school system, as was demonstrated in California a while back.

You sir, have obviously never been to the South Side Irish parade in Chicago. That parade was banned for years because of complaints from neighbors about people puking, peeing, passing out and having sex. It just doesn't play well on the news. For years the news would only show the drag queens and men wearing chaps without underwear. And considering it's only one day of "camping it up", get over it. I've seen worse on HBO. But let me ask you. Were they all out the next day doing the same thing and dressed the same way?

I'm guessing you've never seen a Mardis Gras padade in New Orleans. Straight women bare their breasts in the streets for a cheap plastic necklace (and MUCH more). Live and let live.

Oooo! Clearly, i've touched a nerve. I understand... all of us do. I'm sure the one in your life which causes this reaction is a swell person. If i've upset you, as obviously i have, it was not my intent. =)

You will always strike a nerve with people when discussing sex, religion or politics. They are very passionate subjects that have developed in people over their lifetime. As for the rest of your statement, it doesn't make any sense. You have no clue about people in my life or anyone else you are not personally involved with. Plus, you can't speak for everyone on here, just yourself.

I got stoned many times in Boulder back in the early 80's. A short drive from where I lived in Denver. Maybe I misunderstood your comment.

No, you have no point. No one upset or ruffled about your comments. Your bigotry showed in your first sentence when you referred to only heterosexuals as the "normal people". And that all the blame for the problems of homosexuals lay at their feet. What a ridiculous statement. Then you continued with "we have two gay friends". Only two? I bet you have four black friends. That's keeping up with the statistics. A big pat on the back to you. lol I'll admit, you do make me laugh.
