I just stumbled onto this website, and am taking a chance on "putting myself out there", as I don't normally do this. I have taken pictures for quite some time, and for a stretch, even had a job doing it in an industrial setting. But that was with film and a 4X5 camera with cut film. Digital is a whole different animal to me, and am trying to catch up with everyone. I know I will have a lot of questions, and I hope I won't ask things that sound really stupid, but there are a lot of things that don't make sense to me by reading manuals or books. I have a Sony A200 that I use, so if there are any Sony fans out there, I will especially appreciate your help.
Welcome and post some photos soon.
Eric
Welcome - look around the site at other posts and you might find some answers there - if not feel free to ask. Lots of knowledgable people here!
Welcome to UHH, Auntie...nice to have you join.
Thanks for the welcome. I just posted some pictures, at least I think I did.....followed the directions, so we'll see. Looking forward to learning lots from people much more knowledable than I. Have only had my digital a couple of years, and am still "playing" with it. I am searcing topics on this site like how to pick a good lens, how to do panoramas, the advantages/disadvantages of RAW vs JPG, how to convert RAW to JPG, photo editing software.....you get the drift. Anyway, I will try not to be a nuisance to anyone, and just "listen" in for awhile. And the "AuntieM" tag.....I babysit for a lot of dogs of friends, and everyone has called me AuntieM....
