Canonet QL 17 Film Range Finder Camera

Can anyone give me some information about this camera, specifically, its good points vs its undesirable ones? I think it is the type of camera I would like to own, and I see they are available on eBay and other sites. (It would be nice to have digital camera like this one, but I doubt any are available, especially at a reasonable price.) In any case, film will suffice if it's a camera worth having.

Thanks

They were great cameras and had a good lens. I would consider the new canon g15. It in many ways replaces the range finder cameras of old and does not cost an arm and a leg, maybe a leg! Anyway look the g15 up on DP reviews.

I have considered a Canon G-11, or G12, because of the articulating screen. Don't think the G-15 has that. Anyway, I already have a Sony A-33 with a tilt-able screen. Tilt-able screens are great for street photography. What I really wanted was a Range Finder. And I found one here on UHH. Any other comments or suggestions about the Canonet?

Often used by those who wanted a little camera without splurging for the famous Minox.
