Great responses everybody thank you.
The project is a written essay rather than an actual photo project, so I am looking for an actual title/question for my essay.

If photography is not your essay's main subject, but rather used as a visual illustration, perhaps you could call it "Human impact on its natural environment" or something along those lines. It is not clear to me what the real center of the essay intends to be.

In this context, Earths Revenge will be less environmentally oriented and would probably be manifested in the form of GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome).

Christo comes to mind. His sculptures uses manmade elements to interact with the landscape, so you can better perceive the shape and motion of the landscape. He is an intriguing artist, part sculpture, part performance artist. HIs work is as much in the planning, and layouts as in the final execution. in fact the final execution is often a let down.

Some hate his work, I'm not crazy about all of them, but i do like to read about what he is trying to accomplish and then judge for myself if he was successful. And some are great.. like "Running Fence" or "wrapped Coast". YOU CAN'T JUST LOOK AT THEM, you have to understand his mission to really judge them.

But I think if you do this, you'll get some ideas on how to approach your project.

Hi everyone,

I'm currently researching for a 2.500 word essay I have to write, but I'm really struggling to create the title/question.

I'm looking at human intervention on our landscape, so looking at photographers such as Richard Misrach, Fay Godwin, Jem Southam, just to name a few (all have great work so definitely take a look!)
The best I've come up with so far is How does photography highlight human intervention in the landscape? But I'm not 100%

Any ideas for the question?

Thanks =]
Hi everyone, br br I'm currently researching for ... (show quote)

I see you are located just north of Modesto Ca. I did live there once when I was the 4th grade.
