"Pop" is a sound, "soda" is just a word

Nekon, true however in some parts of the US if you ask for soda. You might get salsa water. In others you may get. A soft drink. Or a funny look from the server. On the othe other had if you ask for a glass of pop in western Pa Eastern Ohio and northern West Virginia they know that you are asking for a soda pop. I know. I digressed here. This has nothing to do with photography

Maybe Nekon should look in a dictionary, then he would know what one is talking about.

I am English-we invented the language ok?-From the shorter oxford dictionary: :"Pop: definition, to make a short, quick, explosive sound": "Soda pop" is an entirely American term for a carbonated drink

And the problem is? Pop is soda, and soda is pop, soda pop is soda or pop.
