"The Stand Your Ground law, which allows deadly force when someone believes their life is in danger, was enacted in 2011"

I don't beleive a MAN needs a law to allow him to protect himself or his family when their life is in danger!

Well, first of all , ANYTHING that comes out from the Huffington group I would take their opinion very lightly if at all...
Now I am NOT defending the "TEA" party (group) one ioda... In fact not even half of an ioda... THEY are NOT the Republican party at all and most Republicans I know pay little to no attention at them at all... Far Rignt wingers - YES, but they do not speak for the average person leaning to the Right side of the pole...

So what do you want? Someone attacks you, let'em beat the crap out of you with a baseball bat or stand your ground and shot them? Someone breaks into your home, let'em take what they want? Why do you think this has to do with the tea party. It is everyone's right to Stand Their Ground.

Bangee, It's about the Tea Party because they want to arrest legislators for voting for something they disagree with.
That's not only nuts - it's absolutely Un-American.

It is about... Two Republican members of the state House of Representatives and a former state GOP chairman have filed a petition to remove 189 members of the state House and file criminal charges against them for their March 27 vote to repeal the controversial gun law.

The huffington Post attached the tea party label - And you.

"The Stand Your Ground law, which allows deadly force when someone believes their life is in danger, was enacted in 2011, during a period of tea party control of the New Hampshire state Legislature."-Huff Post

As stated above, it IS legal to use deadly force if your life is being threatened. The purpose of most "Stand Your Ground" laws is to protect the victim from civil liability after the fact, providing their actions are deemed justified by law.
Most legislatures in the U.S. are composed of Democrat, Republican, or Independent members. The Tea Party appears to be kept alive by a small, but distinguished group of misguided liberals.

Two points:
Point 1. This was not a post about stand your ground. It was a post about some insane legislators wanting to arrest people that they disagree with. If that isn't fascism, I don't know what is. Since abortion is legal in this country, should we arrest anyone who passes laws to restrict the right to one?

Point 2. The tea party is helped by liberals? Are you nuts? The tea party is as diametrically opposed to liberalism as you can get. That is one of the most inane analyses of the tea party I have ever heard.

We don't hear much about the Tea Party in South Florida. There are no center or right of center newspapers or TV channels.

When, if ever, the Tea Party gets ink or face time, all the spokespersons for the Tea Party speaks about is taxes and out of control federal spending. Always pointing out how 0buma's policies and regulations are costing the 99%, the 47%, the middle class and the poor and downtrodden more and more of their take home pay, especially 0bumascamcare.
