I went to Wye Marsh conservation area on the weekend. Here are some of the photos I managed to make.
This cheeky little one managed a full 180 from the time I decided to squeeze the shutter release till the time it opened.
Young Trumpeter swan, probably second year.
I believe this one is called an Eagle owl
A Barn owl
A Harris Hawk
Another Trumpeter swan. The marsh is a center to rebuilding the swan population so the birds had large yellow tags on them at least on the young ones. That`s all that was there that day. I tried a little photo shop to get rid of the tag on this one. It seemed to work okay. The lighting was tough, bright on white on white with a little hard black to make things interesting.
Awesome shots. Love the owls and hawk. But who can look at the first one and not laugh!!!Nice detail no pun intended.LOL
