Applying the air brakes !

I realize that these photos are not the best quality. However, I got them just by chance. I was kneeling in some brush on the shore of a local pond trying to get some pics of some Ringneck ducks that have been hanging around there when I heard something to my right. When I looked, I saw what I thought was a goose taking off from a small cove about sixty to eighty yards up the shore. When it started flying in my direction I realized that it was an osprey with a fish in it's talons so I started shooting. When it got close I stood up, the osprey saw me, and immediately applied the brakes, veered to the right, and took the long way home. You can see that it's looking straight at me. I've never seen a big bird slow down so fast and thought it was pretty cool.

Appreciate the reply creativ simon. :D That was a fun moment but it caught me off guard and I was fumbling with the setting on my camera. I don't know who was more surprised, me or the osprey.
