   Great shots! Very dramatic. They remind me of my very youthful days when I saw the older eastern European migrants that lived in our neighborhood. They came here to work in the coal mines. Thanks for showing.
Great, as always!!! How old is Jim? He looks very, very old.

Same age as Ron. Both 77. Both Korean War veterans. Neither are Homeless. They do walk the streets. Ron witnessed Atom bomb testing in the 50's. Talked to him for 30 minutes and couldn't get away. Jim was so skidish he almost didn't let me take his photo. I had to shoot him where he stood.
Thanks for asking and for all the comments!
The images are so impressive and well done. Jim's eyes just bore through me, almost challenging--the only thing missing is the index finger pointing at me. Love the lighting on the Praying Hands, they are very humbling.
I love every wrinkle! Beautiful!

As usual. Your photography is amazing & creative. You always convey meaning , beauty & impact.
Wow. I spent 20 minutes feeling these pictures. Very expressive and moving. Thank you for sharing.
Outstanding!!! Jim looks as if he ought to be in a Hollywood horror flick. Those eyes!!!
Both men look as if they've lived very hard lives.
Great work.
Museum quality there! Where in the world did you find these subjects? Grew up in SA but moved away years ago. Really nice work.
I would love to take photos like this, but as a woman, I would be uncomfortable in areas that I would find these weathered faces
Oh! I just thought of something!! I have a neighbor that works for the city at the senior center. I bet I could take photos there. However, they will not be anything like your photos, PalePictures, because they will be ordinary looking elderly people, if there is such a thing ;) BUT, I still could capture some excellent images.
