I inherited a Konica TF1 motor body lately with a whole bag full of
lenses.
a couple of them are Tamron lenses.
One is a sp 90m 1:25 and the other is aSP BBAR MC 2X
TELECONVERTER.
The rest at Konica lenses , a 45-100 f/1:25 zoom and a 55mm.
Are these worth anything?
They may fit a sony or minolta camera I understand, but not a canon dslr.
Any help I can get on what exactly I have here will be appreciated.
I have a Minolta Maxxum, that's how I got started.
Thanks guys, the internet was not helpful.

The Tamron lenses will work in strictly manual mode with the proper adaptall-2 mount adapter. These adapters can be picked up on e-Bay for almost any camera ! The Konica lenses are useful only when adapted to mirrorless cameras like the Sony NEX. Not many Konica film shooters out there these days !

Thanks for the help
Would they be worth trying to trade for some equipment online, or at a camera store?

You can TRY - but with the Konica stuff they might laugh...

I had a Konica back in the day. They were the state of the art back in the 70's Alas no more. You can get adapters for some cameras but The stuff you have is probably better suited as collector items. Trade them or sell them to a collector and move on to a Nikon or Cannon.

thanks I kind of figured they would not be worth much, but maybe to someone who is not going leave them in the box from now on.
I sort of inherited this really cool old camera bag with all sorts of ancient parts it seems. some of it looks really cool, the extra flash units for sure, it just seems a shame that time has moved on for them. I guess I am overly sentimental, but the man that had them really loved his stuff.
Anyway thanks for the quick response

I feel your pain. I sit in my office an look longingly at some of my old stuff. I kept most of it. Its like a memory of an old girlfriend. When you run into them 30 years later. They still bring a smile but you wouldn't want to use them again.

Yeah the Artsy side of me wants to try to do something cool with them other than make a sculpture of them or something.
I really mean try to use them once in a while just for the challenge.
What the heck I may do that once in a while if for no other reason than to pay respect to the man that had them before.
I will post anything that might come out looking halfway good.
That is if the body works, it souds ok, but who knows it the insides are still ok.

It has always been my nature to run into the wind for what it's worth.
Not real bright I guess.

Look them up on eBay. That the quickest way to get an idea of their worth.

Buy one of the lower priced Sony NEX bodies and an adapter and have some fun with them, better than leaving them in the dark.

About a year or so ago, I think B&H gave me the best prices for roughly 8-10 grand worth of 35mm Nikon equipment...I ended up keeping everything. Occasionally I'll grab a F2 body or an AI lens and trade it in to purchase something like a pocket wizard. :(

Ah! but the feeling you get with the wind in your face is priceless; and you don't get the stink!
