Excellent shots, on download it looks like that raccoon is still alive and snarling.

Terrific shots they are so clear more so when downloaded. The eagle doesn't seem to have any problems with the tooth snapping coon and I would guess he will make quik work of fixing supper. Thanks for sharing.

Great shots - Kudos
My guess is the coon was dead before he saw the eagle. Typically the eagle would drop down from above and likely had talons to the head immediately.
