The baby Sparrow being fed was quite a distance and is very much cropped.
I just put that suet out a few days ago and stuck that branch in the fence for a perch....this is the very first time I've ever seen a Mockingbird eat the suet.
Was happy to get the Bluejay, as I haven't seen them around much for a couple of months. Occasionally they swoop down, grab some food and are gone. This one stayed for a bit.
C & C always welcome.
Hope you enjoy. :-)

Good shots! I think, in the second one, he is telling you "step away from the suet!"

Nice clear sharp shots, like the last 2 but the bird in 3 really doesn't like you by the look

What's not to like, I put the food out there that he's eating! He may be on guard by the intrusion of the sound of the camera clicking, but surely it's not personal. :D

Thank you Gregory, and as always appreciate your response. :-)
Those shots were at the far end of the patio from me and a bunch of Eurasian collared doves were eating and kept getting in the way. Plus the fact that they were in the dirt part (rather than the cement part) and blended into it, they were difficult shots. Did the best I could within the circumstances presented. I do like them though.

Thank you very much Angler and always appreciate hearing from you. :-)
Love the pissed-off mockingbird. And great job with the far-away sparrow feeding!
