A couple of views from our trip in June 2011. For some reason the water was being blown over the spillway in tidal like waves from the afternoon wind. Don't remember where it was - Think is was in the western part of ADK.

I think your first shot might be in Willsboro NY. East rather than west Adirondacks at 44 degrees 21' 59.50''N by 73 degrees 23'28.18''W on the Bouquet River. If not there's a spillway there that's a near dead ringer!
