I have the T3i with the 18 to 135 lens and love it. The T4i doesn't have as good a pic quality as the T4i at higher ISO settings from what I read but the live view shooting is suppose to be better. On the T3i live view seems to search for focus a little more than it should unless you are in relatively bright light. You can see some of the pictures I posted on hear that I took with it, either way don't settle for the 18 to 55 kit lens, the 18 to 135 is a great lens for the extra cost, still low end compared to a lot out there.
