Hi MJL :-) I have downloaded all 3 of these shots and #1 is very nice indeed. I have to admit, I am still very confused about focus stacking and will endeavour to learn more about it..tfp..:-)

I missed these. The focus stack is spot on and with the white stigma head, I know how hard that is to get right.
How does the multi exposure work? my camera does not have this so can it be duplicated manually? It is a pleasure to look at your work.

Thanks Steve, I appreciate your kind comments. The in-camera multi exposure feature is a lot of fun to play with. My camera can shoot up to 9 frames on the same photo. It then blends these all together somehow and you get some interesting effects. The exposure is put together collectively, so you have to compensate. For example, with a two shot photo, you have to set the exposure for each at about double under-exposed for the two to add up to the proper exposure. These also seem to work out best with a wider aperture. I have tried to do these manually with a focus stacking program, but they don't seem to blend together and produce the dreamy effect. Perhaps you will have better luck finding a way to use focus stacking to do this. Mike
