I don't see what you're talking about. It has a built-in vertical grip, as opposed to adding it as an accessory.
I see that it does incorporate the vertical grip. The back of the camera has a small LCD and other controls there. One review said that it's shorter than the D7000 with the grip. Now that I know that, I guess I'll get a pair of them. :D
EDIT: Whoops! Snapsort rates the D600 higher, so I guess I'll stick with what I have. It just goes to show that you have to take all reviews with a grain of salt.
The D4 does make you look like you know what you are doing, maybe a PRO.
Well, that's very important to me, so maybe I should get one. If you can't take good pictures, at least look like you can. At the end of the day, none of those spectators will see the images, anyway. :D

Jerry, was it you who wrote something like:
"It's not about the images you take, it's about the image you project"?

If that's the case, then sell off your Nikon so you can shoot that 100-400mm L Canon lens. Talk about an awesome looking lens. I don't care if you're shooting the cheapest Canon it'll fit on, wear a sling strap and you'll look like you're from NatGeo.
