I am a proponent of free speech and the freedom of expression of opinions. However, I do not feel that those of us in the UHH forum believe that our expressions of free speech should include demeaning others because of their opinions. It seems to me that RixPix has gone beyond freedom of speech and we, as members of this forum should let our admin know that "opinions" such as those given by RixPix is not acceptable in this forum.

I have read many "opinions" by UHH members that I did not agree with, but I never would respond with demeaning language. To me, RixPix went beyond "civil" disagreements.

If anyone agrees with my thoughts, please let the admin know how you feel. If you do not agree with me, let him/her know.

Why? Here's why. We basically have only one party, the Snake, that has two heads, Repubs and Dems. No matter which head is in power we get the Snake's agenda. The yakking and pseudo fighting between the heads has a purpose - to fool the people into falsely believing there is a difference between them and that the people have a choice. The choices are 1) The Snake 2) The Snake. Vote your poison.

Like most liberals when he's lost the battle of words he just changes the subject and resorts to other forms of attack. His last opinion of me was that I was single, lonely, and he was sorry about that. Hmmm. Pretty good to throw out opinions with no facts to back them up. Oh, I forgot he's a liberal. Now that I think about it maybe RixPix is a she rather than a he. Doesn't matter. Maybe a trans-sexual. Doesn't matter. Still entertaining. :thumbup:

Interesting wishing a public figure "Gone" is not different from my opinion that we as a country would be better off without someone. Or is that some sort of Republican logic like the Republican arithmetic. The opinions expressed by Sarge are at no different from mine. For true progress as a society change is necessary and those who fail to embrace the changes brought by the new generations will be left behind. We just disagree on the avenues of change. As a progressive I stand up for every person's right to express their opinion. However, at the same time those expressing their opinion in a public forum are to be held for their ridiculous comments. Now Sarge started this thread for some unknown reason but I suggest he wanted some attention. Well, he got some attention. His original post was divisive and prejudiced. The initial responses by other members were both racist and ignorant. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. This country is very large and diverse. If you are unwilling to accept the very nature of this country and instead wish to perpetuate the ignorance and prejudice of the past then yes, this country would be better off without you. It is just that simple.
