thanks for clearing that up Rufus..I wasn't going say anything else to her...and people wonder why some leave this forum.
I think I just need to go back to bed. Sorry I really did know that. I just came back from Bonaire where they have wild flamingos (almost wrote swans again) and that is a wonderful shot. Don't want to lose a new friend.

I just replied but it must not have gone through. I am very very sorry. I knew that was a flamingo. I just got back from Bonaire and took loads of photos of them (the run wild, beautiful), so I very much know the difference and am sorry that I offended you. I really just need to go to bed before I offend someone else. By the way, it is a beautiful shot.

I looks like an eye with the center being the retina or optic nerve.
I think it is a pool ball. At first, I thought it was an eyeball with a reflection of the blood vessels in the back of the eye but, it's could also be a porcelain or marble eye in a piece of artwork or doll. It also reminds me of a porcelain button on a figurine clown or a porcelain top. Okay, if it's not porcelain or marble I don't have a clue. I even thought it looked like a jar top. If I've guessed wrong please give us a clue. Is it an ornament? What room of the house or type of building would we find it in?

It's a cup of coffee that's been sitting a while and the coffee drifted to the bottom. There were some other comments a few pages back.
I'm not a coffee drinker so, I probably would have never guessed it. I did notice the circular pattern (ring) on the inside of the cup though. Excellent assignment on learning to view the world from different perspectives. (LOL)

Yes, it is. Maybe we should try diet coke next time. I think that would take a while and not the perspective I'd be looking for.
